Fruit Custard Recipe

Suggestions for Fruit Custard Recipe


1. You can add any fruits in this custard available in your kitchen except citrus fruits and melons. In this recipe I have used apple and pineapple as they are my favorite.

2. You can also add chopped dry fruits and nuts as per your choice

3. You can choose the flavor of custard powder as per your test but I preferred Vanilla flavour.

4. If you don’t have custard powder, don’t worry, you can use cornflour instead and just add your favorite essence in it.


Ingredients


1 litter milk

1 ½ cup sugar

6-7 almond

5 tablespoon custard powder

Fruits- 1 apple, ½ Pineapple as as per your choice

Preparation


1. Rinse the fruits thoroughly and chill them in the fridge.

2. Soak the almond in warm water.


How to Make Custard


1. Boil a liter of milk in a pan on low flame.

2. Keep stirring continuously so that the milk does not stick to the pan.

3. Add 1 ½ cup sugar and stir till it dissolves.

4. Peel soaked almonds, cut them into small pieces and add them to the boiling milk.

5. Take half a cup of cold milk in a bowl, add custard powder in it and mix it well to avoid any lumps.

6. Pour the mixture into boiling milk and stir continuously to prevent lumps.

7. Cook the custard on low flame until it turns thick.

8. Switch off the flame and let it cool down at room temperature.

9. Keep custard in fridge.


Making Fruit Custard


10. Remove the fruits and custard from fridge. Peel and chop the Fruits into small cubes.

11. Add fruits in chilled custard and mix well.

12. Add some almond flakes on top  and finally our fruit custard is ready to serve.
