Spicy and tasty schezwan noodles is an Indo Chinese recipe, made by stir-frying noodles and vegetables with schezwan sauce.
Schezwan noodles is a very popular street food in India and is also served as party food.
In this schezwan noodles recipe, I’m using homemade schezwan sauce which makes this recipe more tasty and flavorful.

Ingredients
For Cooking Noodles
150 grams noodles, 6 cup water, ½ teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon oil
For Schezwan Noodles
½ cup finely chopped onion, ½ cup shredded cabbage, ½ cup finely chopped capsicum, ½ cup finely chopped carrot, 4-5 chopped garlic cloves, 4 teaspoons chopped spring onion, 3 teaspoon schezwan sauce, ½ teaspoon black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon white vinegar, 2 tablespoon oil, Salt to taste
How to Cook Noodles
1. Boil 6 cups of water along with ½ teaspoon of salt.
2. Add 150 grams of noodles in boiling water.
3. Cook the noodles for 5 -7 minutes or according to the package instruction. Don’t overcook it. Noodles should be slightly raw.
4. Strain the noodles in a colander
5. Add a glass of water and rinse the noodles.
6. Now add 1 teaspoon of oil and gently toss the noodles. Oil makes the noodles nonstick.
How to make Schezwan Noodles
1. Heat 2-3 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic and sauté for a minute.
2. Add ½ cup thinly sliced onion and sauté on a high flame.
3. Add 2 teaspoons chopped spring onion.
4. Further, add ½ cup Carrot, ½ cup capsicum, and ½ cup cabbage. Stir fry the veggies till they get cooked but keep them slightly crunchy.
5. Now add 3 teaspoon schezwan sauce and ½ teaspoon of black pepper powder.
6. Stir and mix the sauce with veggies.
7. Add boiled noodles and stir until the noodles get coated with the sauce very well.
8. Furthermore, add 1 teaspoon of white vinegar.
9. Finally, add 2 teaspoon spring onion and stir.
10. Schezwan Noodles are ready to serve. Serve hot.
Suggestion
1. You can change the amount of schezwan sauce as per your taste.
2. Don’t overcook the noodles. It will make schezwan noodles mushy.
