White sauce pasta or Bechamel Sauce pasta is a very popular recipe from Italian & French Cuisine which is generally served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Creamy and cheesy white sauce pasta is made with whole wheat semolina penne pasta, white sauce, veggies, and some spices. And the creamy white sauce is made from butter, all-purpose flour, milk, and herbs. Adding veggies to this recipe makes it very nutritious.

Ingredients
For Cooking the Pasta
2 cups penne pasta, 6-7 cups of water, 1 teaspoon salt
For the White Sauce
2 tablespoon butter, 2 ½ tablespoon all-purpose flour (maida), 1 ½ cup milk, 1 teaspoon chilli flakes, 1 teaspoon oregano, ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder, Salt to taste
Other ingredients
1 small sized chopped onion, 1 medium-sized chopped capsicum, ¼ cup sweet corn, ¼ cup chopped carrot, 3-4 chopped garlic cloves, 2 tablespoon oil or butter, 3-4 tablespoon grated cheese
How to Cook the Pasta
1. In a large pan, add 6-7 cups of water and 1 teaspoon salt. Bring it to a boil.
2. Add 2 cups of penne pasta in boiling water.
3. Boil and cook the pasta on medium flame.
4. When pasta is cooked to an al dente texture (cooked but little firm), switch off the flame.
5. Drain off the pasta using a colander and keep aside.
How to Cook Vegetables
1. In another pan, heat 2 tablespoon oil and add 1 roughly chopped onion.
2. When the onion looks translucent, add 3-4 chopped garlic cloves. Sauté for a minute.
3. Further, add 1 medium-sized chopped capsicum, ¼ cup sweet corn, and ¼ cup chopped carrot.
4. Sauté vegetables on medium flame until cooked but slightly raw.
5. Switch off the flame and keep the vegetables aside.
How to Make White Sauce
1. Heat the pan with 2 tablespoon butter.
2. When butter melts, add 2 ½ tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
3. Sauté until aromatic on low flame.
4. Further, add 1 ½ cup milk and start stirring the milk.
5. Continuously stir the milk and flour, so that no lumps are formed.
6. The sauce should be semi-thick. If your sauce looks too thick, add ½ cup more milk to it.
7. Now add ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon chilli flakes, and 1 teaspoon oregano.
8. Mix all the ingredients very well.
How to Make White Sauce Pasta
1. Add cooked pasta and vegetables in white sauce.
2. Gently mix the pasta and vegetables with white sauce. Make sure you coat the pasta with the white sauce very well.
3. If the sauce looks a little thick, add ¼ cup boiled pasta water and mix gently.
4. Lastly, add 3-4 tablespoon grated cheese and mix very well.
5. Switch off the flame and the white sauce pasta is ready.
6. Serve white sauce pasta hot with grated cheese on top.
Suggestion
1. You can add more or less cheese to this recipe.
2. You can also add broccoli, green peas to make it more nutritious.
3. Sauté all-purpose flour on low to medium flame to avoid changing its color.
