Take 200 grams of paneer & cut the paneer into small pieces.
In a kadhai or pan, add ¾ cup sugar and ½ cup of water.
Stir and dissolve the sugar on a medium flame & when the sugar syrup starts boiling, lower the flame.
Now check one string consistency of sugar syrup with your fingers. If it does not get one string consistency, boil the syrup for a few more minutes.
Now add paneer pieces to the sugar syrup. Also, add ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder and mix well.
Boil the paneer pieces in sugar syrup & stir continuously. When sugar syrup looks thick, turn off the flame.
After cooling down, sugar will solidify and then remove the chena murki from kadhai.
Chena murki is ready to serve.
