Rajgira Sheera Recipe | Rajgira Halwa | Vrat Ka Halwa with detailed photos. Rajgira halwa is an Indian dessert, made during vrat or upwas days such as Navratri, Ekadashi, etc.
This rajgira sheera is made with rajgira flour, milk, water, sugar, dry fruits, ghee and is flavoured with cardamom powder.

Ingredients
1 cup rajgira flour (amaranth flour)
½ cup ghee
½ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
3-4 cashew and almond
½ cup milk
½ cup water
Preparation
1. Take ½ cup of milk and add ½ cup water to it. Keep this mixture aside.
How to make Rajgira Sheera
1. In a kadai, add ½ cup of ghee.
2. Add 3-4 chopped cashews and almonds and fry until golden.
3. Remove almonds and cashews from the kadai.
4. Now add 1 cup rajgira flour in ghee and stir on medium flame.
5. Continuously stir until the flour looks golden.
6. Now add the milk-water mixture in the kadai and stir continuously.
7. When the mixture looks thick and release the ghee from the sides, add ½ cup sugar to it. You can add less sugar as per your taste.
8. Then add ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder and mix well.
9. Lastly, add fried cashews and almonds.
10. Finally, rajgira halwa / rajgira sheera / vrat ka halwa is ready to serve.
Suggestion
1. You can add sugar as per your taste.
2. Make sure to roast the rajgira flour properly on low flame.
