In a mixing bowl, take 2 cups boiled, peeled, and grated potato.
Add ¾ cup bread crumbs, 3 tablespoon cornflour, and salt to the taste.
Mix all the ingredients and make a soft dough. Then cover and refrigerate the dough for 20 minutes.
Pinch a big ball-sized dough and make a patty.
Then roll the patty into a thick circle, using a rolling pin.
Take a small Katori or cookie cutter and cut the round shapes, Make eyes using a cake decorating nozzle and also make a smile using a spoon.
Heat the oil in kadhai or pan and add smiley in it.
Deep fry the potato smiley on medium flame and flip them when turns golden.
Fry until looks golden and crisp and then remove from the oil.
Finally, serve hot and crispy potato smiley with sauce.
